OVERVIEW

Mild and Rapidly Improving Stroke Study (MaRISS) Training Tool is organized by American Heart Association (AHA) and would be held during February 8, 2018 to February 9, 2020. The Target audience basically for this Event Stroke and Cerebrovascular. This CME conference has been approved with a maximum of 1.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Enrolled MaRISS hospitals will be required to have data abstractors and bedside nurses participate in study activities. In order to ensure that the data abstractors and other study personnel (including bedside nurses) are proficient in understanding the study aims and activities, the MaRISS study will provide this training course.

The training course will be used to teach learners about the stroke severity modules including NIHSS, Barthel Index, EuroQol, mRS, and SIS. The training module will also include components of human subjects protection to ensure that learners are knowledgeable of the need for compliance with good clincial practice in research, consent process and protection of vulnerable populations.
