OVERVIEW

Medical Therapy for CLI is organized by Cleveland Clinic Foundation and would be held during Aug 9, 2016 - Aug 9, 2017.

The target audience for this medical event for Physicians, nurses, physician assistants, and health care professionals in vascular surgery, podiatry, interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, internists, endocrinologists, and wound care specialists who are involved in the care of patients with critical limb ischemia. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 0.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Objectives are :
• Discuss the heterogeneous approach to pharmacologic treatment of critical limb ischemia (CLI) patients.
• Review vorapaxar and the thrombin receptor antagonist family.
• Discuss managing risk of cardiovascular disease events/death in PAD patients. Review treatment of claudication.
• Identify adjunctive therapy after revascularization for CLI.
• Discuss data on new oral anticoagulants in acute coronary syndromes and future work.
