The incidence of medical errors continues to impact patient safety. This presentation will address one of the most common causes for medical errors which include misdiagnosis. A review of common etiologies of misdiagnosis related to Cardiology and Neurology patients. Providers will understand the reasons for these medical errors and learn effective preventive strategies. Additionally, they will learn techniques for adverse event disclosure.
