Managing Challenges in the Assessment and Treatment of Cannabis Use Disorders (CUD) is organized by California Society of Addiction Medicine (CSAM) and will be held during Nov 20, 2015 - Nov 20, 2018.
The target audience for this medical event is Addiction medicine specialists who want an overview of the latest developments in the field and their relevance to clinical practice, Primary care clinicians who want to get a better understanding of addiction and manage patients with addictions in their practice, Public health officials who want an understanding of the current state of addiction treatment, Non-physicians who are involved in the treatment of addiction. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 3.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Description :
This interactive and case-based workshop will address the diagnosis of cannabis use disorder, implications of co-occurring disorders, evidence-based treatment options and strategies for engaging and treating youth.
Conference Objectives are :
• Diagnose cannabis use disorders in their patients.
• Develop a treatment plan for paitents with co-occuring psychiatric issues.
• Assess options in treating patients with cannabis use disorders.
