OVERVIEW

IR Basics: Venous Interventions is organized by Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) and will be held from Jan 04, 2018 - Dec 01, 2020.

The target audience for this medical event is an interventional radiologist, interventional oncologist, nurses, techs and other physicians at all levels with a special interest in venous interventions. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 3.00 SA-CME credits.

Course Description :
This course is designed to provide the learner an overview of diagnosis, management and data regarding patients with acute and chronic DVT, venous insufficiency and acute PE. This course also covers the use of IVC filters.

Course Objectives :
Upon completion of this on-demand activity, participants should be able to:
• Assess the diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes of acute and chronic DVT.
• Describe the diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes of PE and venous insufficiency.
• State the appropriate use, follow-up, and retrieval of IVC filters.
