This course will describe the transformations occurring within health care delivery. The course provides insight into the transition from a fee for service business model of clinical practice to one that is based upon performance. It will include understanding new legislative parameters for value-based payments and how the chiropractic clinician can meet the requirements.

New Health Care Vocabulary (1 CEU)
New Health Care Vocabulary course will describe the new words and key phrases currently being used to describe the transformative changes within the care delivery system. The course will use the latest definitions to support the understanding about what is changing in care delivery and how providers must interpret the language to comprehend the new system of care. It will include understanding of key concepts driving the transformation within health care such as population health management, care pathways, care coordination and patient-centered care standards. The course will offer information about the triple aim and payment system changes.
