Integrative Oncology – Paradigm Shift is organized by Baptist Health South Florida and would be held during May 01, 2017 - May 01, 2019.

Target Audience:
Hospitalists, Internists, Family Practitioners, Emergency Medicine Physicians, Surgeons, Cardiologists, Endocrinologists, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Dietitians and other interested healthcare practitioners.This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.

Integrative therapies can be recommended as evidence-based supportive care options during cancer treatment. Integrative oncology represents a high priority for research as the overarching goal is to identify safe and efficacious integrative and conventional therapies to address unmet patient needs.

Learning Objectives:
• Differentiate integrative versus alternative use of healing modalities.
• Discuss differences between traditional use of acupuncture and evidence-based use of acupuncture.
• Explain the concerns of undocumented and unsupervised use of supplements.
