OVERVIEW

Improving Outcomes in Difficult-to-Treat Patients with Obesity: Challenge Accepted is organized by Vindico Medical Education and will be held during Dec 19, 2016 - Dec 18, 2018.

The target audience for this medical event is endocrinologists, internists, family physicians, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with overweight and obesity. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 2.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Conference Objectives are :
Upon successful completion of this educational activity, participants should be better able to:
• Review revised evidence-based guidelines and recommendations as they pertain to the overall management of obesity and other comorbidities, to assist in clinical decision making.
• Incorporate novel patient interaction and communication techniques that may improve adherence to prescribed therapeutic regimens.
• Apply therapeutic modalities that optimize the safe and effective treatment of overweight and obesity in patients with comorbidities.
• Incorporate the use of adjunctive pharmacotherapy and bariatric surgery as needed for obesity management based upon patients' characteristics, comorbidities, and individual needs.
