Description:
You Call the Shots is an engaging, web-based immunization training course featuring a series of modules that delve into vaccine-preventable diseases and elucidate the most recent recommendations for vaccine utilization. Each module offers interactive learning experiences, self-test practice questions, reference materials, and an extensive glossary. This 14th module in the series focuses on rotavirus and its related vaccines.

Objectives:

At the conclusion of the session, the participant will be able to:
Describe rotavirus disease.
Identify those for whom rotavirus vaccination is recommended.
Describe characteristics of the rotavirus vaccine used to prevent this disease.
Locate current immunization resources to increase knowledge of team’s role in program implementation for improved team performance.

In support of improving patient care, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

CME: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention designates this Enduring activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
