Overview:
Primary biliary cholangitis (CBP) is a chronic, autoimmune-based liver disease that most commonly affects women over the age of 40.
Epidemiological data suggest that the prevalence of this pathology is 28 cases in 100,000 with an incidence of 5.3 cases in 100,000 each year.
The drugs currently available for the treatment of CBP are effective and able to slow down the progression of the disease but, to date, the diagnosis times are still excessively long.
The main objectives of the ECM course are therefore the exchange of information and knowledge in the diagnostic and therapeutic field of CBP also through the discussion of real-life experiences at the regional level.

Educational objective:
• Clinical documentation. Clinical-assistance diagnostic and rehabilitation paths, assistance profiles - care profiles
