Conference Description :
This presentation will aid in understanding the mechanics of T4, T3, and reverse T3 thyroid physiology and its role in obesity. Clinicians will learn about the different types of thyroid medications, and how and when to use (or not to use) different thyroid hormone preparations; lab reference ranges versus optimal ranges; immediate versus sustained-release delivery; and compounded thyroid hormone and antibodies that can develop as a result of foods.
Conference Objectives are:
• Discuss the different types of thyroid medications and their appropriate use.
