Description:
This webinar providers a primer and summary of recent health care reform legislation, tactics and outcomes, as well as a description of possible health care reforms going forward.

Objectives:
At the end of this educational activity, participants should be able to: 
• Evaluate how state and federal laws and regulations impact both their medical practice management overall and with regard to specific patient groups.
• Identify the primary sources of laws and regulations that pertain to their practice and be able to articulate and advocate for legal change where law and best medical practices differ.
• Identify ways to engage with the legislature, professional organizations, or other community organizations to promote physician advocacy.
• Describe the current conditions of the Affordable Care Act and MACRA and formulate strategies that will implement change within their practice as it relates to the ACA and MACRA. 
• Evaluate how the ACA and MACRA are affecting the payer, purchaser, and clinician/provider communities.
• Identify and navigate the legal implications of health care law in order to make appropriate decisions for your medical practice.
