Fade Out Major Depressive Disorder: Barber and Clinician Outreach is organized by DKBmed.

Release date: 12/23/25

  • Identify and address disparities in MDD diagnosis and treatment
  • Improve adherence and outcomes through culturally responsive care
  • Explore emerging therapies and treatment strategies for MDD and treatment-resistant depression

Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss variation in depression diagnosis and treatment among individuals from racial and ethnic minority groups.
  • Develop strategies that ensure treatment uptake and support treatment adherence in Black patients with MDD.
  • Apply approved and emerging investigational therapeutic agents for MDD, once available, to treatment plans of Black patients with MDD.?
