Course Objectives are :
• Identify high risk surgical patients for post-discharge venous thromboembolism.
• Estimate the risk of post-discharge venous thromboembolism after surgery by available tools.
• Demonstrate methods to appropriately extend thromboprophylaxis in high risk surgical patients.
