The purpose of this course is to address this gap in care by providing content for health professionals across diverse backgrounds to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the barriers that far too many with infertility face in accessing care. The course brings awareness of this gap through interactive learning and provides practical, real-world tools and skills that can be applied to improve patient access to reproductive healthcare and to help bridge the wide gaps in access that exist in many communities today.
Educational Objectives:
At the conclusion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the barriers and gaps in access to reproductive healthcare facing individuals with infertility.
- Identify practical real-world tools and skills that can be applied to improving access to care.
- Apply leadership practices including networking, collaborating, and strategizing with other healthcare professionals to improve access to care for patients and communities.
