Essential Tools for Treating the Patient in Pain™ is designed for clinicians interested in the fundamentals of pain medicine and practical approaches to the treatment of common pain disorders. This mini course offers clinically focused lectures and case presentations on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with various pain syndromes, providing practical information that a practitioner can immediately implement upon returning to practice the next day. This enduring material activity will consist of a didactic presentation video accompanied by PowerPoint slides. The course is appropriate for primary care physicians, pain care specialists, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pain psychologists.
