OVERVIEW

Epilepsy New Advancements is organized by Cleveland Clinic Foundation and would be held during Sep 15, 2016 - Sep 15, 2018.

The target audience for this medical event for for adult and pediatric epileptologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, family practitioners, internists, and nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, residents and fellows who treat pediatric and adult epilepsy patients. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 2.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Objectives are :
• Reduce the incidence of long term morbidity from refractory status epilepticus.
• Improve management of epilepsy in women of childbearing age.
• Recognize opportunities to reduce morbidity from adverse effects and seizures by exploring new antiepileptic medications when appropriate.
• Prevent suicide in teens and adults who are experiencing epilepsy and prevention.
