OVERVIEW

Employing Urine Drug Testing to Optimize Patient Outcomes in Chronic Opioid Use is organized by Pri-Med and will be held from Oct 24, 2018 - Oct 24, 2019. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Overview :
The routine use of UDT according to current prescription drug monitoring guidelines allows for a comprehensive assessment of opioid misuse grounded in policy rather than decisions based on individual patient characteristics, decreasing the stigma that can be associated with this type of testing. 

Learning Objectives :
•  Appreciate the benefit of standardized UDT and implement current prescription drug monitoring guidelines into clinical practice to ensure maximal therapeutic effect, while mitigating opioid misuse, abuse, accidental overdose, and death
