Program Overview:
This Enduring Activity Will Cover The Treatment And Management Of Patients With Parkinson’s Disease (Pd).

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the program, attendees should be able to:
• Review the symptom constellation that may not be resolved by traditional levodopa, including postural instability and falls, speech and swallowing difficulties, and non-motor symptoms.
• Describe the role of different patient factors (age; symptoms; symptom severity; occupational status; lifestyle; cognitive, behavioral, and psychiatric status; and other medical comorbidities) in clinical decision-making, as well as clinical trial evidence supporting the use of multiple interventional therapeutic approaches in the management of Parkinson’s disease (PD)
• Review the steps required to restore dopaminergic tone in patients with PD
• Discuss strategies aimed at fostering effective patient communication and shared decision making, as well as comprehensive care and disease management planning, particularly for patients with comorbid conditions
