Dietary Options for Children with Severe Obesity is organized by Obesity Medicine Association (OMA) and will be held during Apr 12, 2015 - Apr 06, 2018. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Conference Description:
Dr. Haemer will describe the options available for dietary intervention, including balanced-deficit diets, very low-energy diets, partial and total meal replacements, and low-carbohydrate diets. He will then address common obstacles to treating children with obesity, including family cooperation, school meals, peer pressure, cultural background, and psychological issues. Finally, Dr. Haemer will teach learners how to obtain the best results when treating children affected by severe obesity.

Conference Objectives are:
• Provide options for dietary intervention for children with severe obesity.
• Identify common obstacles in treating children with severe obesity.
• Gain strategies to optimize weight-management results for children with severe obesity.
