Diagnosing and Treating Hypothyroidism : New Associations, Indications, and Treatment Targets is organized by David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and will be held during Mar 01, 2016 - Feb 28, 2018. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Hypothyroidism is a common condition in the general population. Dr. Gregory Brent provides an update on current understanding of the pathophysiology of hypothyroidism as well as new treatment and clinical practice guidelines.

Conference Objectives are :
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
• Order appropriate tests to screen for and diagnose hypothyroidism.
• Identify disease processes associated with hypothyroidism.
• Select appropriate thyroid replacement for the patient with hypothyroidism.
