At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
• Perform assessment of infected diabetic foot ulcer consistent with evidence-based research
• Determine between a diabetic foot infection and a diabetic food infection with PAD
• Discuss the best labs for evaluating an INFECTED diabetic foot ulcer
• Determine the severity of a diabetic foot infection and how to determine if emergent
• Describe proper imaging needed to diagnose the extent of the diabetic foot infection
• Review treatment of the infected diabetic foot consistent with practice guidelines
