Course Description:
This course is designed to provide the learner with knowledge, skills and understanding about the stages, symptoms, behaviors and challenges associated with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of this course the learner should be able to:
• Differentiate between Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia
• Identify 2 signs/symptoms of dementia, as well as methods of treatment
• Identify strategies for communicating with residents with dementia
• Recall 4 signs and symptoms of the final stage of dementia.
