Description:
This multidisciplinary approach event will help practitioners, applying for a new or renewed DEA registration, meet the 8-hour training required on opioid or other substance use disorders.
Objectives:
• Describe the approach to the diagnosis and assessment of patients with substance use disorders and concurrent physical and mental health conditions
• Identify the rationale for opioid agonist therapy (OAT) and the different treatment options.
• Treat Opioid Use Disorder is specific patient populations
