DEA MATE Act Training -- Dental Implications for Non-Opioid Substance Use Disorder and Medication Assisted Therapies - This lecture reviews non-opioid illicit drugs, such as stimulants, hallucinogens and inhalants. The course also addresses the dental implications for patients with alcoholism and non-opioid SUDs.
Upon completion of this lecture, participants should be able to:
• Identify the signs and symptoms of alcoholism and other non-opioid SUDs.
• List treatment alternatives for patients with non-opioid SUDs.
