Course Description:
This activity will provide a basic overview of conservative management of chronic venous disease. The intent of this activity is to improve the learners' competency through this introduction to the guidelines and conservative measures of venous insufficiency .

Learning Objectives:
As a result of this activity, the participant should be able to:
• Discuss the conservative measures for venous insufficiency.
• Define how exercise, elevation, compression and venoactive drugs affect the venous system.
• Review the evidence based guidelines for these conservative measures.
