OVERVIEW

CE Module Part II Focused on VWD and other Bleeding Disorders in Women is organized by National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF).

Description:
This activity, “An Introduction to the Recognition, Appropriate Diagnosis, and Timely Management of VWD and other Bleeding Disorders among Women in Non-Hematology Health Care Settings,”  is the second module in a three-part series entitled Improving Outcomes for von Willebrand Disease and Other Bleeding Disorders in Non-Hematology Health Care Settings. Each webinar in this series has been designed to better educate healthcare providers who do not specialize in hematology. NHF encourages primary care physicians, obstetricians/gynecologists, nurses/nurse practitioners, dentists, and other allied professionals to take advantage of this learning opportunity.

In addition, the education will be particularly valuable to those providers who may practice outside the hemophilia treatment center network. This module is available for continuing medical education (CME), continuing nursing education (CNE) and American Dental Association (ADA) credits.

This activity was originally supported by an independent grant from the Shire as well as cooperative agreement number NU27 DD001154 funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or the Department of Health and Human Services.

Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
