Learning objectives:
Participants will learn when and how to use HeartScore®, the interactive version of the Systematic Coronary Risk Evaluation (SCORE) charts. This system estimates the 10-year risk of fatal CVD based on age, gender, total cholesterol, systolic blood pressure and smoking status as well as HDL-cholesterol and body mass index (BMI). Participants will also learn how HeartScore® compares to other risk scores.
