Course Overview:
Cardiovascular Pathophysiology is a two part series that examines many of the cardiovascular disease processes that occur in our everyday practices. The course outlines and defines various disease processes focusing primarily on etiologies, diagnoses, signs and symptoms and treatment modalities. After the completion of both courses, the reader will have a better understanding of how many of these disease processes are interrelated. The reader should also understand that early diagnosis and treatment are key determinants of the patient’s outcome.

Part I is designed to look at Congestive Heart Failure, Pulmonary Hypertension, Hypertension, Atherosclerosis, Myocardial Infarction and Valvular abnormalities.
