Endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) are almost ubiquitous and are found in make-up, hair care products, water bottles, food storage containers, rubber gloves, and much more.  African American women’s health has been particularly impacted by EDCs and some have linked higher rates of obesity, metabolic syndrome, heart disease, and breast cancer to its exposure. We will look at this topic and examine the evidence as well as explore solutions.
