Best Revision Operation for Gastric Banding is organized by Cleveland Clinic Center for Continuing Education and would be held during Feb 19, 2017 - Feb 19, 2018.

The target audience for this medical event for practicing surgeons and other health practitioners who care for patients undergoing minimally invasive surgery. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 0.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Innovations in Surgery is a monthly, case-based videoconference and CME webcast educational series providing demonstrations and discussions of new and innovative minimally invasive procedures, devices, and techniques. The overall goal of this series is to enhance participants' knowledge, competence, and skills to perform surgical procedures and improve outcomes.

Conference Objectives are :
• Review the advantages and disadvantages of adjustable gastric band (AGB) and sleeve gastrectomy (SG).
• Identify the morbidity and mortality of band conversion operations.
• Highlight emerging concerns in relation to AGB weight loss effectiveness, safety, and the time to perform the procedure (concomitant with band removal or delayed approach).
• Describe surgical options for the treatment of failed gastric bands.
