Beat the Clock & Beat the Odds: Surviving Sepsis Guideline Updates is organized by Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS).

Learning Objectives:
• Learners will identify and be able to utilize these recommendations to provide standardized and globally validated management for patients who present with sepsis, thus improving and reducing the morbidity and mortality
• Learners will manage the patient in sepsis more effectively by following these established protocols and making it less likely that an essential step is overlooked. Learners will also rely less on their memory and will not need to scramble to locate a reference test to manage the sepsis patient.
• Learners will follow an established protocol in the management of sepsis by following the bundled assessments and interventions that have been developed by the SSC guidelines.
• Learners will see a reduction in patient morbidity and mortality by using the protocols established by the 2021 Surviving Sepsis Campaign (SSC).

This program will expire and must be completed by 07/27/26.
