Assessment and Evaluation Course

Assessment and Evaluation Course is organized by Appalachian Way Counseling, LLC. This course has been approved for a maximum of 7 Hours.

Overview:
This training is relevant to certification or recertification for educational requirements and professional growth issues, along with clinical assessment, counseling services and aftercare planning.

In this training, the focus will be on steps through the assessment process. The clinician will hopefully learn how to remain objective, define the problem, identify previous methods used and provide insight to clients. The clinician has an opportunity to learn some common guidelines to follow and their interview style, along with the most used assessments and screening tools used in the industry today. This will be an interactive class that will help in gaining all the insight needed to gather appropriate information in guiding the client.
