OVERVIEW
Approach to Neuropathy is organized by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUMC) and will be held during Oct 21, 2016 - Oct 21, 2019. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.
Conference Description :
Going to discuss Approach to Neuropathy. The goal is to provide a succinct, but an inclusive overview of peripheral neuropathies in a way that is easy, systematic, and meaningful to primary care providers. Primary care providers should be able, after our talk, to know when to suspect a peripheral neuropathy (and distinguish from other conditions), what tests to order, and how to manage pain. In addition, they should be able to identify atypical presentations of peripheral neuropathy (CIDP, GBS) and know that these patients require more urgent care and/or hospital admission.
Conference Objectives are :
As a result of this educational activity, webcast participants will be able to:
• UNDERSTAND basic presentations of neuropathy, and
• PROVIDE treatment/management options for neuropathy.
