OVERVIEW
Rhythm control in atrial fibrillation: Antiarrhythmic drugs versus catheter ablation is Organized by European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and will be held during Feb 06, 2018. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1 CME Credit.
Course Aims:
Participants should be able to discuss with their patients the available options for rhythm control of atrial fibrillation, including the benefits and any potential complications.
Learning Objectives:
• Describe appropriate indications for acute and long-term rhythm control approaches to atrial fibrillation
• Awareness of different anti-arrhythmic drugs, each suitable for different patient populations with specific precautions for use
• Develop an understanding of the role of catheter ablation in AF, including long-term outcomes Options available after failure of the chosen rhythm control strategy
