Course Objectives:
After completing this course the learner will be able to:

• Differentiate early, middle, and late findings associated with dementia in assessment of the patient
• Discuss three causes of reversible dementia
• Incorporate three non-drug interventions for a dementia patient who develops behavioral problems
• Discuss the risks and benefits of drugs used to treat behavior disturbances in dementia
• Discuss the challenges of caregiving of a dementia patient

Outcomes:
The expected outcome of this course is that healthcare professionals will apply methods of management of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias
