About this Course
In this course, Dr. Kevin Kwiecien will help the practitioner better understand the risk factors and dangers of sleep disordered breathing. The course will review the importance of including airway evaluations in your dental practice and what medical conditions may increase the risk of experiencing sleep disordered breathing. It will also address the dilemma of protecting teeth with a full-arch appliance in a “physiologic” position vs. opening the airway with mandibular advancement appliance.

• Review centric relation (fully-seated condylar position)
• Understand why a well-adjusted appliance may not be the answer for nighttime bruxism
