Course Description:
To screen patients for airway dysfunction, Dr. Rouse explains the use of a high-resolution pulse oximeter (HRPO), an easy-to-use, a screening tool that patients use in the comfort of their own home. HRPOs are a proactive way to identify sleep breathing disorders like apnea, upper airway resistance syndrome (UARS) and hypoventilation. Doctors will learn HRPO terminology, examine three different models of HRPOs available on the market today and get insight on how to read and analyze reports.
