OVERVIEW

AHA Enduring Webinar: Acute Ischemic Stroke and Novel Treatments: Imaging and Devices is organized by American Heart Association (AHA) and will be held from Jun 06, 2016 - Jun 05, 2019. The Target audiences for this medical event is Physicians, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners. This CME conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

This course will build upon the historic late breaking trial from ISC 2015 identifying some of the novel therapies presented and addressing the appropriate application and utilization for such new therapies in acute ischemic stroke. This is the 2nd of 3 webinars and it will focus on Imaging and Devises with regard to recent studies of endovascular interventions in the treatment of acute stroke.

Objectives:
• Summarize the 2015 AHA/ASA Focused Update regarding Endovascular Treatment of the 2013 Guidelines for the Early Management of Patients with Acute Ischemic Stroke.
• Discuss the potential effects of the data presented on clinical practice.
• Identify opportunities, if appropriate, for integrating the findings presented into clinical practice.
• Apply cardiovascular and stroke-related guidelines.
