Target Audience:
This educational program is directed toward medical oncologists and hematologists who treat patients with MM. Fellows, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals interested in the treatment of MM are also invited to participate in the activity.

Activity Overview:
This Advances In™ program aims to update you on the latest information on the management of skeletal-related events in multiple myeloma (MM). Patients with MM are particularly susceptible to bone involvement, and the majority of patients have some evidence or symptom of bone disease at presentation. This combined text and video format provide the opportunity to become up-to-date with the latest information regarding techniques and strategies for the monitoring, diagnosis, and treatment of bone disease. The expert faculty provide their perspectives on how the latest data fit into the treatment paradigm for MM, and a look toward the future of research and treatment for bone disease in MM.

Upon successful completion of this educational activity, you should be better prepared to:
• Describe the impact of skeletal-related events (SREs) in the context of MM
• Identify strategies to diagnose and proactively monitor ongoing SREs or prevent bone complications during cancer treatment in patients with MM
• Select appropriate therapy for the prevention of SREs in patients with MM
Integrate recent clinical trial evidence for the prevention and mitigation of SREs in patients with MM.
