Acute Pain Management in Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and Special Populations is organized by Corewell Health.

  • Identify medications used in opioid use disorder (OUD) and challenges that may arise in the management of acute pain
  • Design acute pain management plans for patients using medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD)
  • Describe the importance of continuity of care in patients with opioid use disorder
  • Recognize challenges in pain management in patients with OUD
  • Describe the importance of continuity of care in patients with opioid use disorder.
