OVERVIEW

Achieving Glycemic Control in Type 2 Diabetes - A Quality Improvement Program for Primary Care is organized by RealCME and will be held from Apr 06, 2018 - Apr 06, 2019.

The target audience for this medical event is primary care clinicians, nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs) and other health care professionals involved in the care of patients with diabetes.. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Objectives:
After completing this activity, the participant will demonstrate the ability to:

• Implement strategies for timely initiation and titration of insulin therapy in patients with type 2 diabetes
• Describe the clinical and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) differences between ultralong-acting and conventional basal insulins
