Whether this is your first ostomy certification exam or if you are recertifying, this course is a great study tool that you can use to help prepare for the WOCNCB exams.
Using the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board’s ostomy testing domain, this course uses a case study approach to review key content areas. This format of the material provides real-world applications of the content, to test your knowledge and to help with comprehension.
Using the information from this review and the content outline provided by the WOCNCB, learners should be able to identify knowledge gaps and areas where additional study is needed. The video recording of the presentation is accompanied by additional downloadable resources, including an audio file of the recording and links to WOCNCB resources.

Note: The WOCN Society does not guarantee that any candidate taking the certification review courses will pass the exam. The successful completion of certification and recertification exams depends upon the amount of practice, knowledge, and skills of the individual candidate.
Learner Outcome:
After the completion of this activity, the learner will report increased confidence in applying ostomy care knowledge through using a case study approach to prepare for taking the ostomy certification exam offered by the WOCNCB.
