The purpose of this continuing education opportunity is to provide a unique opportunity to use patient cases to shepherd a clinician through the decision-making process using state-of-the-art mobile technology, i.e. iOrtho+® mobile app which will be provided COMPLIMENTARY with the purchase of the course. It is unreasonable to try to teach everything there is to know. To the contrary, it is more important to help a person learn “how” to think. This course will exemplify the way in which evidence can be used to make clinical decisions regarding medical screening, selection of clinical tests, and the interpretation of the results of these tests.

Objectives:
Upon completion of this course the participant will be able to:

1. Differentiate between how sensitivity and specificity statistics can be used to screen or confirm a given pathology
2. Identify at least 2 tests each to screen for medical pathology of the spine, lower extremity, and upper extremity
3. Given 5 rotator cuff tests, differentiate which tests are best for "ruling out" vs. "confirming" the diagnosis
4. Given 1 example of the position of the sacral base, ILA, lumbar spine, & sit-slump test results, correctly identify the potential sacral dysfunction
5. Given 2 upper or lower extremity neural tension test positions, correctly identify the nerve incriminated
6. Given 5 knee meniscal tests, differentiate which tests are best for "ruling out" vs. "confirming" the diagnosis
