#7166 Rotator Cuff Repair…Patient management is organized by MotivationsCEU.

Description:
The purpose of this webinar course is to identify education and treatment strategies for our patients following rotator cuff repair that can yield improved patient satisfaction and improved quality of life measures (return to sleep) during the first 6 weeks following rotator cuff repair.  The evidence is clear on what therex can be conducted during the first 6 weeks, but there are many impairments to address that do not directly affect the muscle activation of the rotator cuff.  (Introductory Level).

Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

  1. Correctly identify sling points of contact for proper fit and weaning progression.
  2. Accurately identify impairments associated with periods of immobilizations of the shoulder.
  3. Independently create and modify therapeutic interventions related poor thoracic spine mobility and soft tissue pain.
  4. Classify & correctly identify exercises that fall below the 15% EMG activation to qualify as passive ROM.
Credits

This is a 3-contact hour course equivalent to 3 CEU’s or 0.3 CEUs offered as a live webinar or self-study.
