What is the significance of 27 International Symposium on Controversies in Psychiatry CME webcast?

Course Description:
The CME course raised as an annual monothematic event has become a benchmark of European psychiatry. Each year the theme of the symposium changes and the scientific/organizing committee prefers the talks and chooses the speakers, who are the renowned experts in their respective subjects. Each one of them proffers their personal views and experience, as well as the outgrowths of their research, in a fully industry-independent way. Controversies in the only event of its kind in continental Europe and we acknowledge that the success of continued attendance over time endorses its format and the proposed methodology.

"Violence and Aggression" is a topic of wide relevance in our society, but rarely raised from the field of Psychiatry and Psychology. Therefore, in this edition, we will examine the physiological and social bases of violence, its relationship with different mental disorders, its impact on people's mental health, as well as therapeutic management options, and social and global interventions.

Goals:
To produce our excellent speakers and content -of the highest international level- to training specialists and to do so at a very affordable cost.
