Description
This lecture addresses headache management during pregnancy and postpartum, along with different alternative treatments, of which many providers and patients are unaware.
Objectives
At the end of this course, participants should be able to:
- Review different approaches to migraine acute and preventive treatment during pregnancy and lactation.
- Discuss some potentially secondary headaches during pregnancy and puerperium.
- Review when neuroimaging studies shall be used in these circumstances.
