Description:
This session covers the highlights of the 2017 AHA/ACC Hypertension Guidelines, where new categories of levels of blood pressure are presented based on newer evidence.  This session also covers the management and treatment of hypertension, with specific discussion on hypertension in patients with comorbidities and in older adults. The course concludes with a panel session with six experts who discuss different aspects of hypertension management.

At the completion of this online course, the learner will be able to:
• Translate emerging clinical science to practical practice in patients with cardiovascular disease and stroke.
