The Ochsner Clinic Foundation assigns this live activity for a maximum of 6 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians will be granted credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Get ABIM MOC Credit:
On Successful completion of this CME activity, a participant will be able to apply for the evaluation component, allowing them to earn up to 6 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will gain MOC points commensurate to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to present participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Course Description:
The field of Pediatrics is fluid with current discoveries and improvements in inpatient care. Generalists must be knowledgeable in all areas of preventive care as well as be equipped to competently care for children with more complicated medical problems. It is vital that these healthcare professionals continue to be updated in all areas of pediatric medicine and we will discuss a range of topics in this year's course from general outpatient medicine to emergencies that generalists may meet with chronic illness. This CME course will accommodate participants with basic science knowledge and bedside practical skills to achieve many everyday clinical challenges.

Conference Details:
The 16th Annual Update in Pediatrics will be hosted via Zoom on two separate days, August 15th, 2020, and August 29th, 2020. The participant will earn 3 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ if attending only (1) day and 6 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ if attending both.
