Educational Objectives:
• NCCAOM Approved for AOM-Biomedicine 3 hours
• Discuss anatomical aspects related to muscle and nerve of the upper extremity as it pertains to the application of Acupuncture
• Evaluate upper limb pain commonly encountered in the clinical practice of Acupuncture
• Discuss anatomical aspects related to muscle and nerve of the lower extremity as it pertains to the application of Acupuncture
• Evaluate lower limb pain commonly encountered in the clinical practice of Acupuncture
• Apply the treatment protocol of homeostatic, paravertebral, and symptomatic Acupoints for upper and lower extremity pain syndromes
• Use Acupoint treatment protocols for headache, trigeminal neuralgia, shingles, and TMJ disorders
